Hi Minchinbury Jets Soccer Club Members,

It’s round 13 this weekend. We have a big day at home on Saturday with 20 matches being played at home. This Saturday is also our Burger Day, where BlackBear BBQ, one of our club sponsors, will be cooking up delicious burgers. We look forward to the sun shining and plenty of well-fed happy people being at the ground on Saturday. There’s plenty going on over the next month or so with the Burger Day, Kebab Day and Bingo Night all happening. Please see below for details on these events.

Black Bear BBQ Burger Day – This Saturday 8th July

This Saturday, 8th July, will see BlackBear BBQ hold our first Burger Day. The burgers will be delicious Brisket Cheese Burgers. The price will be $10 for a burger or $12 for a burger combo with a bottle of water or can of soft drink. The burgers will be on sale from 9:00am until sold out. So, hurry in on Saturday morning to get one before they run out!

We will also have our normal canteen and BBQ items available from the club canteen as well on the day.

Kebab Day - Rescheduled to Saturday 22nd July.

Our planned Kebab Day with the Kebab Shack has now been rescheduled to Saturday 22nd July. Kebabs will be on sale from 9:00am to until sold out. The price will be $12 for a Kebab or $14 for a Kebab and a can of soft drink or bottle of water.

If you have experienced one of our previous Kebab Days, you know how delicious these kebabs are.

The Kebabs will be either Chicken or Beef and come standard with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and your choice of BBQ, Tomato or Chilli Sauce. If you want to add a bit extra to your Kebab, they also have Tabouli, Humus, Cheese and Garlic Sauce.

We will also have our normal canteen and BBQ items available from the club canteen as well on the day.

Bingo Night – Saturday 12th August.

The club will be holding a Bingo Night on Saturday 12th August at the Lone Pine Tavern, Rooty Hill. Doors open at 7:00pm, Bingo starts at 7:30pm and we should run until 10:00pm (or maybe a little later).

Tickets will be $15 per person and include 20 Bingo Games, a dabber, and a shared snack platter per table. We will also have other fun activities, lucky door prizes, a meat raffle and other fantastic prizes up for grabs on the night. Player of the Match Awards

We would like to request the assistance of all our Coaches & Managers of all teams and of all grades to help recognise the achievements of your Player of the Match Awards

Please take a photo of your Player of the Match with their award and trophy every week.

Scan the QR code from the POTM flyer that has been issued to your team, complete the requested details and attach a copy of your photo to the email.

Send off the email to MJSC Sponsorship to have your POTM featured on our weekly Player of the Match post on our Facebook page.
